About MeWelcome! My name is Maureen Strachan. This will be my twenty-fourth year teaching for Brighton and my eleventh year at Hornung. I hold a BS in Child Development and Elementary Education, a Masters in Educational Technology and Instructional Design, both from M.S.U. I also hold an Administrative Certificate through the State of Michigan through Eastern's Educational Leadership Coursework. I am trained in Education Through Music.

My Family |
I recently moved to a rental in Howell with my husband Steve and we have started building our retirement home in Arizona. We have three children, all graduates of B.H.S. I enjoy running, swimming, biking, traveling & kayaking. We have a dog, Prince (German Shepherd).

Goal |
My goal for each child is to find joy in exploring, learning, organizing themselves, their classroom and their surrounding environment. Our work together is a true partnership and I thank you for sharing your child with me!
